About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Logistics Planner to manage nationwide delivery operations from a remote setting, supporting our operations based out of Cardiff . In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing delivery routes, managing fleet schedules, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods across the UK. You will leverage advanced planning software and collaborate with drivers and dispatch teams remotely to overcome logistical challenges and maintain high service levels. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor optimal delivery routes and schedules for a national fleet.
• Utilize logistics planning software to forecast demand, allocate resources, and manage transport capacity.
• Communicate effectively with remote drivers, warehouse teams, and customer service regarding delivery status and potential disruptions.
• Proactively identify and resolve logistical issues, rerouting or rescheduling as needed to meet delivery commitments.
• Analyze transport data to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements across all delivery operations.
• Maintain accurate records of planned routes, transit times, and operational performance metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics planning, route optimization, or supply chain management.
