Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine mechanical components and systems for automated manufacturing equipment and processes using advanced CAD software .
- Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) compliant with industry standards.
- Conduct comprehensive engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and kinematic simulations to optimize designs.
- Collaborate effectively with a remote team of engineers, project managers, and technicians across different locations.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation, documenting results and proposing design improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design challenges, providing timely technical solutions to support manufacturing and integration efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on automation and manufacturing .
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Onshape) and PDM/PLM systems.
- Experience with FEA and CFD simulation tools for design validation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
