Remote Mining Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Remote Mining Project Manager to lead and oversee key mining projects from initiation to completion, operating entirely remotely. You will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation across various mining ventures. Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Oversee risk management, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the mining industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex mining projects from conception to closure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience in remote team management.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
