About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Remote Pharmaceutical Data Analyst to join their expanding data science team. This fully remote position will focus on extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets generated from pharmaceutical research, clinical trials, and post-market surveillance. You will play a key role in generating actionable insights that inform decision-making across various departments, driving efficiency and innovation in drug development and commercialization. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK, contributing to critical projects within a forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from diverse pharmaceutical sources (e.g., clinical trial data, R&D databases, sales data).
- Develop and implement data analysis strategies using statistical methods and data visualization tools.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, and marketing, to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry .
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
