Remote Process Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and detailed process designs for chemical plants and units.
• Create process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Perform mass and energy balances, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic assessments for new process concepts.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams in a virtual environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process design and engineering.
• Proficiency with industry-standard process design and simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, AutoCAD Plant 3D).
• Strong understanding of chemical thermodynamics , fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills, essential for remote work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines independently.
