Remote Production Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Remote Production Planner to join their operations team, supporting their manufacturing hub in Sunderland . In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and coordinating with various departments to meet production targets. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues across different locations. You will play a key role in optimizing workflow and ensuring timely delivery of manufactured goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet demand forecasts and deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and product dispatch.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address any deviations or bottlenecks.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in planning efficiency.
• Communicate production status updates and potential issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Optimize production plans to maximize throughput and minimize idle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordination, preferably in a manufacturing context .
• Proficiency with production planning software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
