About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Production Planner to join their rapidly expanding Manufacturing & Production team, operating entirely remotely. This crucial role involves developing and optimizing production schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and maintaining seamless workflow from raw materials to finished goods. You will work collaboratively with various departments to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and guarantee timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and optimize detailed production schedules to meet demand forecasts and operational capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedules.
• Maintain accurate production data and reporting, providing insights into efficiency and output metrics.
• Collaborate virtually with sales, engineering, and operations teams to align production plans with business objectives.
• Optimize inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods to minimize costs and prevent stockouts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Planner , Scheduler, or similar role within the Manufacturing & Production industry.
• Strong understanding of production planning software (e.g., ERP, MRP systems).
• Excellent analytical and forecasting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for virtual collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
