About the Role

Our client, a key player in the Manufacturing & Production sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Production Planner to manage production schedules and resource allocation for their various facilities, including operations near Liverpool . This role is essential for ensuring efficient production flow, meeting demand forecasts, and optimizing inventory levels. As a remote employee, you will collaborate closely with plant managers, supply chain teams, and sales departments to create accurate and achievable production plans. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and adept at using planning software and communication tools to excel in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and optimize detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and internal targets.
• Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or changes in demand.
• Analyze production data, forecast demand, and manage inventory levels to minimize costs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Communicate production plans and updates effectively to all relevant stakeholders across different locations.
• Work closely with quality control to ensure production schedules align with quality standards and product release requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related supply chain role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems, APS) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
