Remote Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Quality Assurance Lead to join their distributed manufacturing operations team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control strategies that ensure the highest standards for our manufactured products, regardless of physical location. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues, establishing robust testing protocols, and collaborating with remote manufacturing sites to maintain product integrity. You will play a vital part in upholding our client's reputation for quality and reliability across all production lines and will be empowered to implement innovative QA solutions from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive quality assurance strategies and procedures for remote manufacturing processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of remote quality assurance specialists, providing guidance and support.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and monitor adherence across all production units.
• Conduct remote audits and investigations to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met from design to delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of quality control findings, analyses, and resolution progress using digital tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance , with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and managing QA processes within a manufacturing context.
• Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for data analysis, reporting, and project management.
