Remote Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team, operating on a fully remote basis. In this pivotal role, you will manage all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures, ensuring projects remain within budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide expert financial advice and cost control strategies, supporting successful project outcomes across various geographical locations without the need for physical site presence. This position offers significant autonomy and the chance to leverage advanced digital tools for remote collaboration and project oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, tender, and deliver bills of quantities and other contractual documents .
• Undertake costs analysis using relevant software , prepare ongoing reports and cost-saving recommendations.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contractual administration.
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial appraisals for new projects.
• Monitor project expenditure and forecast future costs accurately.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Quantity Surveyor .
• Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of construction, refurbishment, and maintenance costs.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, construction economics, or relevant field.
