Remote Senior Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and motivated Senior Architect to join their fully remote, dynamic architectural practice. This pivotal role involves leading the design and technical direction of significant projects across the UK. You will be responsible for conceptualizing innovative designs, overseeing their development, and ensuring their successful execution, all while collaborating seamlessly with a geographically dispersed team. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of architectural principles, and a passion for creating impactful, sustainable, and aesthetically outstanding built environments, working from the comfort of their home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for complex projects from inception through to completion.
• Develop creative and technically sound design concepts, translating them into detailed drawings and specifications using Revit .
• Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants in a virtual setting to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure all designs strictly adhere to UK building regulations, planning policies, and sustainability standards.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and designers within the remote team structure.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high standards of quality and client satisfaction are consistently met.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture (e.g., RIBA Part III or equivalent) with substantial experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in architectural practice, with a proven track record of leading projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard architectural design software is essential.
• Strong understanding of UK planning law, building regulations, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote interaction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a remote work setting.
