About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their expanding technology team. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of advanced cloud-based solutions that meet complex business requirements. This role involves deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, a strategic mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. You will work with stakeholders across the organization, providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure successful cloud adoption and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical architectures and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams during solution implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet specific business needs.
• Develop best practices for cloud governance, security, and cost management.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven experience designing and deploying complex solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Expertise in network design, security principles, and identity management within cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
