Remote Senior Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly competent and proactive Senior Architectural Technologist to join their fully remote team. This role is critical for ensuring the technical integrity and buildability of diverse architectural projects across the UK. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and coordinating complex construction information, all from a remote working location. The ideal candidate possesses a wealth of experience in technical design, a strong command of BIM software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed network of professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed technical designs, construction drawings, and specifications using Revit .
• Ensure rigorous adherence to UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and all relevant legislation.
• Coordinate architectural information with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other project stakeholders remotely.
• Undertake quality assurance checks on all technical documentation to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the remote design team.
• Liaise with contractors and site teams to resolve technical queries during the construction phase.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification such as a degree, HND, or HNC in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a proven track record in technical design and project delivery.
• Expert proficiency in Revit for BIM is mandatory; strong AutoCAD skills are also required.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UK building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong virtual communication and collaboration capabilities, essential for a remote role.
