About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer specializing in infrastructure to join their fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of major infrastructure projects, focusing on transportation, water, and utilities.
• Develop comprehensive engineering solutions, including road design, drainage systems, earthworks, and site development plans.
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant UK regulations, standards, and best practices for civil engineering.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses, often in collaboration with virtual teams and clients.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff remotely.
• Manage project documentation, progress reporting, and client communications through digital platforms.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is advantageous.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
• Professional Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing various infrastructure elements such as highways, sewerage, and stormwater management.
• Proficiency with industry-standard civil engineering software, including CAD and modeling tools, preferably with remote access capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to manage projects and teams effectively in a virtual setting.
