Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models and statistical analyses for financial forecasting, risk assessment, and customer behaviour prediction.
• Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources for analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, product, and technology teams to define analytical needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and analytical frameworks.
• Communicate complex findings and insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical leadership and best practices in a remote setting .

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on financial modeling and analytics.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pandas).
• Strong experience with SQL and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Solid understanding of financial markets and banking operations .
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage projects, and deliver results in a fully remote capacity .
