Remote Sports Event Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Sports Event Coordinator to manage the planning and execution of various sporting events from a distance. You will be responsible for liaising with vendors, managing logistics, coordinating marketing efforts, and ensuring seamless communication between all stakeholders, including athletes, officials, and sponsors. This role requires exceptional project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, all while working effectively from a remote location. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering successful and memorable sporting experiences for participants and spectators alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and execute sports events, from initial concept to post-event analysis, entirely remotely.
• Source and manage relationships with external vendors, including venues, caterers, and equipment suppliers.
• Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing and communication plans.
• Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, participant registration, and volunteer management.
• Ensure all events comply with relevant sports regulations and safety standards.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination , preferably within the sports industry.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills .
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities for vendor and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with event management software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks in a remote setting .
