Key Responsibilities

• Develop and advise on sustainable farming techniques, including organic farming, regenerative agriculture, and agroforestry.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies for agricultural operations.
• Provide guidance on water conservation, soil health improvement, and biodiversity enhancement practices.
• Research and promote the use of cover crops, crop rotation, and natural pest control methods.
• Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability certifications and reporting frameworks.
• Stay updated on the latest research, policies, and innovations in sustainable agriculture globally.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, environmental management, or a related consultancy role.
• Strong understanding of ecological principles and their application in agricultural systems.
• Knowledge of soil science, water management, and biodiversity conservation within an agricultural context.
• Experience with sustainability reporting standards and certifications is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, research, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting .
