Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and security using sophisticated monitoring systems.
- Detect, diagnose, and escalate network issues and incidents, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics to identify trends and potential problems.
- Generate regular reports on network status, incident summaries, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with Tier 2/3 support and engineering teams to resolve complex network issues.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of operational procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations or a related role within the telecoms industry .
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix) and ticketing systems.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching.
- Experience analyzing network data and generating performance reports.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
