Remote UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and user-centric UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This role is integral to crafting intuitive and engaging user interfaces for a range of digital entertainment products. You will be responsible for translating complex user needs and business requirements into seamless, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional designs. As a key member of our distributed product development team, you will have the opportunity to shape the user experience of projects that reach a global audience, working collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) for web and mobile applications.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs are feasible and meet project objectives.
• Create and maintain a design system or style guide to ensure consistency across all products.
• Champion user-centered design principles throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design process and outcomes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing principles.
• Experience designing for different platforms (web, mobile) and understanding their respective constraints.
• Excellent visual design skills, including typography, colour theory, and layout.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, vital for effective teamwork in a remote setting.
