About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated Remote Warehouse Data Analyst to join their expanding operations team. This fully remote position will focus on leveraging data to drive efficiency and accuracy within our warehousing and logistics functions across various sites, including our Norwich facility. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights that enhance overall operational performance. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of warehouse and logistics data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and operational costs.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to management for optimizing warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Collaborate virtually with warehouse managers, logistics coordinators, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analytical activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Logistics, or a related quantitative field.
