Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for renewable energy generation and storage projects.
• Perform detailed analysis, including load flow, fault studies, and grid connection assessments.
• Specify electrical equipment, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and cabling.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical components and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams, external contractors, and grid operators to achieve project milestones.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and technical due diligence for new renewable energy opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; relevant master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy systems.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems , wind energy technology, or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Proficiency with power system analysis software and design tools.
• Knowledge of grid connection procedures and standards for renewable energy projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills required for on-site and office-based work in Norwich .
