About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Research Fellow to contribute to exciting projects within their Biochemistry department in Stoke-on-Trent . This role involves conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing results, and contributing to the overall research objectives of the team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a range of biochemical assays and experiments, including protein purification, enzyme kinetics, and cell-based studies.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions required for experiments.
- Accurately record experimental data and maintain detailed laboratory notebooks.
- Analyze experimental results using appropriate statistical methods and software.
- Contribute to the interpretation of data and the development of research hypotheses.
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life science discipline.
- Previous laboratory experience in an academic or industrial research setting.
- Hands-on experience with fundamental biochemistry techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using relevant software.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
