About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Residential Lettings Negotiator to join their busy branch in Southampton . This role is crucial for matching prospective tenants with suitable properties, managing viewings, and facilitating the entire lettings process from initial inquiry to move-in. You will play a key part in achieving branch targets and ensuring client satisfaction through excellent service and market knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Southampton property market and a natural ability to build rapport with both landlords and tenants, working within a respected agency that values its team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants, highlighting property features and local amenities.
• Register new applicants and proactively match them with available properties.
• Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to achieve mutually agreeable terms.
• Prepare tenancy agreements and manage the referencing process.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the lettings process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in lettings or property sales is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A good understanding of the local Southampton property market.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
