About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Residential Property Manager to manage a portfolio of residential properties in and around Leeds . This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations, tenant satisfaction, and property maintenance. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners, addressing inquiries, managing repairs, and overseeing the general upkeep of the properties. This hybrid role allows for remote management of administrative tasks while requiring on-site presence for property visits and tenant meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio, including rent collection, lease administration, and evictions where necessary.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage maintenance and repair requests, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely completion of works.
- Screen potential tenants, conduct viewings, and manage the move-in/move-out process efficiently.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, fostering positive landlord-tenant relationships.
- Maintain accurate property records, including leases, maintenance logs, and financial statements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant laws and regulations in the UK.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for property visits.
