Job Summary

Newcode Partnership is looking for a hands-on Sales Coach & Team Leader to help develop and motivate its Sales Development Representative (SDR) team.

This is a player-coach role, with an even split between making outbound calls and coaching the team. You will lead by example against your own sales targets while helping SDRs improve their calls, build confidence and achieve their goals.

Duties

• Make outbound calls and meet personal targets for call activity, qualified leads and meetings booked

• Model effective prospecting, qualification and objection handling

• Listen to live and recorded calls and give practical, timely feedback

• Run daily team huddles, call-shadowing sessions and role-plays

• Hold regular one-to-one coaching sessions and support individual development

• Help onboard and develop new SDRs

• Monitor individual and team performance and identify coaching needs

• Work with leadership to improve scripts, talk tracks and outreach approaches

• Help maintain a positive, supportive and high-energy team culture

Requirements

• Experience in outbound sales, SDR, BDR or telesales, with a record of achieving targets

• Experience coaching, mentoring or informally leading colleagues

• Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills

• Comfortable giving clear, constructive feedback

• Organised and able to balance personal sales targets with team coaching

• Able to commute to the Leyland office three days a week

Desirable

• Previous experience as a team leader, sales coach, sales trainer or SDR manager

• Experience in a sales or lead-generation agency or another high-volume outbound environment

• Familiarity with CRM and call-monitoring tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Gong

• Experience supporting onboarding, sales training or playbook development

• Experience engaging with senior decision-makers

If you’re a strong salesperson who enjoys helping others improve, this is an opportunity to stay close to the action while making a direct impact on a growing SDR team
