SEN Teaching Assistant

Academics are urgently recruiting a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant for a specialist SEN school in Islington supporting pupils aged 9-18 with PMLD and physical disabilities. Role Details:

• Full-time, term-time only
• £95-£105 per day
• ASAP (trials available now)
• Full academic year (temp to perm potential)

The Role

• 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with complex needs, mobility, and sensory requirements
• Assisting with personal care and manual handling (training provided)
• Using structured routines and communication strategies (e.g. PECS/AAC)
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SENCO

• Specialist PMLD setting with excellent staff-to-pupil ratios
