PMLD Teaching Assistant - Lewisham

Location: Lewisham, South East London Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: ASAP Pay: £100-£117 per day

Remedy Education are looking for a caring and reliable PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Lewisham.

You will be supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs, helping them access learning while providing appropriate physical and personal care support throughout the school day.

The Role

Supporting pupils with PMLD and complex additional needs Providing 1:1 and small-group classroom support Assisting pupils with communication, sensory activities and learning Supporting pupils with mobility and physical needs Providing personal care, including toileting and changing where required Supporting feeding and daily routines where appropriate Following individual support plans and guidance from teachers and therapists Helping maintain a safe, caring and inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Comfortable and confident providing personal care Previous PMLD, SEN, care or support work experience is highly desirable Patient, compassionate and resilient Comfortable supporting pupils with complex physical and learning needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable and committed to a full-time positionThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with SEN or care experience who is passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs.
