About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Architect to join their dynamic team in Leicester . You will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing a wide range of architectural projects, from initial concept to final completion. This position offers the chance to contribute significantly to the built environment, working on diverse projects that require creative problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design standards, fostering a culture of excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design development of architectural projects, from feasibility studies to detailed construction documentation.
- Prepare and present high-quality architectural designs, visualizations , and project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations, planning policies, and relevant legislation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, coordinating with external consultants and contractors.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise.
- Mentor junior architectural staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high standards of work.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Architecture (e.g., RIBA Part III or equivalent).
- Proven experience as an Architect, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse project types.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and architectural visualization tools.
- Thorough understanding of UK building codes, planning laws, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead design teams effectively.
