Job Description
Senior Business Development Manager – Enterprise SaaS
Hampshire | Bristol | London | Southampton
Office-based / collaborative working
Highly competitive package + uncapped earning potential
Series B | 120% growth this year
This isn't another SaaS sales role.
We're partnering with one of the most exciting high-growth technology businesses in its market — and we're looking for two exceptional Senior Business Development Managers to join them during a major period of scale.
The business is Series B backed, has grown 120% this year , and is building something with genuine purpose: technology that is transforming how organisations across healthcare and social care operate and deliver better outcomes.
The product has traction.
The market opportunity is significant.
The business is scaling.
And the culture is genuinely special.
Now they need experienced enterprise salespeople who want to be part of the next chapter.
The opportunity
You’ll be joining a high-performing commercial team where you have the autonomy to build relationships, shape strategic opportunities and close significant enterprise deals.
This is not a high-volume, smile-and-dial sales environment .
You’ll work strategically across complex accounts, developing relationships with C-suite and board-level decision makers , understanding their challenges and building long-term commercial partnerships.
You’ll own opportunities from initial engagement through complex stakeholder management, procurement, negotiation and ultimately contract signature.
Expect to:
- Build and develop a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts
- Create sophisticated account plans and identify whitespace opportunities
- Develop executive relationships across complex organisations
- Run multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles
- Build pipeline through relationship-led and account-based selling
- Lead major commercial negotiations and protect deal value
- Navigate procurement, tenders and formal bid processes
- Represent the business at industry events and senior networking forums
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Delivery
- Bring customer and market intelligence directly into commercial strategy
Who we’re looking for
We’re interested in high-calibre enterprise salespeople , not candidates who simply match every keyword on a job description.
You’ll probably have experience in Enterprise SaaS, HealthTech, Public Sector Technology, Social Care Technology or another complex B2B technology environment .
More importantly, you’ll be able to demonstrate that you’ve:
- Closed significant, complex enterprise opportunities
- Managed long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Built genuine relationships with C-suite and board-level customers
- Created opportunities through strategic account development rather than relying purely on high-volume outbound
- Negotiated commercially strong agreements
- Operated with excellent CRM, forecasting and pipeline discipline
- Built credibility as a trusted advisor rather than simply a salesperson
Experience with healthcare, social care or public-sector procurement would be fantastic — but we’re equally interested in exceptional enterprise SaaS sellers who can quickly understand a complex market.
Timing matters when joining a scale‑up.
This is an opportunity to enter a business at a genuinely exciting point in its journey:
- 120% growth this year
- Significant opportunity for further expansion
- Established product with strong market credibility
- Ambitious, experienced leadership team
- Technology with genuine real-world impact
- Collaborative, high-performance culture
- Serious investment in professional development
- Opportunity to influence how the commercial function scales
You’ll also receive an excellent benefits package including:
- 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays
- Up to 5 additional days for long service
- Private Medical Insurance + Personal Health Fund
- Enhanced maternity package
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Birthday off every year
- Additional health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits
This could be for you if...
You’re performing well where you are — but you’re wondering what the next three to five years of your career could look like.
You want more than another territory and another target.
You want to join a business with momentum, work alongside ambitious people, sell something that genuinely matters and have the opportunity to make your mark while the company scales.
There are two hires being made.
