Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of various civil engineering projects, including drainage, highways, and site development.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with relevant UK design standards and regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documents for client and regulatory submissions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards it is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on infrastructure.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant hydraulic modelling tools.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and environmental considerations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
