Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of site infrastructure for urban development projects, including roads, sewers, and utilities.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, drawings, and specifications for planning applications and construction.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and timely delivery of infrastructure works.
- Liaise with local authorities, statutory undertakers, and developers to secure necessary approvals and coordinate services.
- Conduct site feasibility studies and prepare master plans for infrastructure layouts.
- Ensure designs incorporate principles of sustainability and water management (SuDS) .
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering .
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a significant focus on development infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D , and relevant hydraulic modelling software.
- In-depth knowledge of planning policy, building regulations, and highways standards (e.g., DMRB).
- Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
