Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) - Pharmaceutical Trials

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their clinical operations team in Wolverhampton . This vital role involves monitoring clinical trials to ensure they are conducted, recorded, and reported in accordance with the protocol, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulations. You will be responsible for site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits, ensuring data integrity and patient safety. This position offers a blend of field-based responsibilities and remote administrative tasks, providing a flexible hybrid work arrangement for experienced CRAs passionate about advancing pharmaceutical research.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits for clinical trials.
• Ensure adherence to the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and quality of clinical data through source data verification.
• Identify, resolve, or escalate issues related to study conduct and data discrepancies at clinical sites.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with investigators, site staff, and study teams.
• Prepare and present monitoring visit reports and ensure timely resolution of action items.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP , ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in monitoring clinical trials, including site management and data review.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to clinical sites as required, combined with effective remote working capabilities.
