About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote, forward-thinking technology team. This pivotal role will involve designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions across major cloud platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural designs, driving innovation and efficiency. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and best practices, who can lead technical strategy and mentor other engineers in a collaborative, remote-first environment, ensuring optimal cloud utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive cloud solutions architectures on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud designs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud strategy, migration, and optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and best practices for cloud deployments.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance existing solutions and drive innovation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex architectural challenges, ensuring the security, performance, and availability of cloud environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms.
- Proven experience with cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, serverless computing, and containerization.
- Excellent knowledge of networking protocols, security best practices, and compliance requirements in the cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
