Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their technology leadership team in Nottingham . You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud strategies and architectures that drive business innovation and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), excellent architectural skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and leadership to ensure the successful adoption and optimization of cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document robust and scalable cloud architectures across multiple cloud platforms (AWS , Azure, GCP).
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud strategy, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into viable cloud solutions.
• Ensure the security, compliance, cost-efficiency, and performance of cloud environments.
• Develop migration strategies and roadmaps for moving existing applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
• Mentor other engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning in cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 4 years focused on cloud solutions .
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on one or more major cloud platforms (AWS , Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and data services.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
