About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Community Fundraising Officer to join their dedicated team, working entirely remotely from Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial for expanding our supporter base and increasing income through engaging community-based fundraising activities. You will play a lead role in developing innovative fundraising campaigns, empowering local groups, and fostering a strong sense of community support for our cause. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative community fundraising strategies and campaigns to meet income targets.
• Recruit, manage, and inspire a network of community fundraisers and volunteers across the UK.
• Provide excellent support and resources to individuals and groups undertaking fundraising activities.
• Organize and deliver engaging virtual fundraising events and challenges.
• Analyze fundraising data and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for growth.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community supporters and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community fundraising or a related role within the Charity & Voluntary sector .
• Demonstrated success in developing and delivering successful fundraising campaigns and events.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in motivating and engaging volunteers.
• Self-disciplined and motivated to work effectively in a remote , autonomous environment.
