Senior Concept Artist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly imaginative and skilled Senior Concept Artist to join their creative hub in Norwich . This hybrid role is crucial for visualizing and defining the aesthetic direction of new projects, from characters and environments to props and mood. You will work closely with the art director and development teams, translating ideas into compelling visual concepts that inspire and guide production. Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, props, and keyframes.
• Develop visual styles and mood boards that define the aesthetic direction of projects.
• Collaborate with art directors, game designers, and other stakeholders to iterate on concepts.
• Ensure concepts are practical for implementation by 3D artists and other production departments.
• Contribute to the overall artistic vision and maintain visual consistency.
• Mentor junior concept artists and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Concept Artist , with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles.
• Expertise in digital painting software such as Photoshop, Procreate, or similar.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, composition, color theory, and form.
• Ability to work efficiently and produce high-quality art under deadlines.
• Experience with 3D software (e.g., ZBrush, Blender) for concepting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for hybrid collaboration .
