Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and remediate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve security breaches effectively.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Architect secure cloud environments and applications, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats in distributed systems.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and endpoint security technologies.
- Proficiency in security scripting, automation tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
