Key Responsibilities

• Execute timely and safe deliveries of goods to designated customer locations across the Leicestershire region and beyond.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes using provided navigation tools to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Load and unload goods securely, ensuring accurate inventory checks and proper handling of all items.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, acting as a professional representative of the company.
• Assist with warehouse operations during downtime, including organizing stock and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Valid UK Driving Licence with a clean record (Category B minimum; relevant commercial licenses a plus).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, with a strong knowledge of Leicester and surrounding areas.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrable physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
