Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team based in Belfast , Northern Ireland. This role is crucial for managing and delivering high-profile industrial electrical projects across the UK . You will be responsible for the technical integrity of designs, leading project teams, and ensuring that all electrical engineering aspects meet stringent quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the electrical design and engineering for large-scale industrial projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop detailed specifications, single line diagrams , and engineering drawings for power distribution, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical engineering project management and design.
• Demonstrated expertise in power systems, motor control , and industrial automation.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices within the UK and Ireland.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
