About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer to join their dynamic, remote-first engineering department. This role is vital for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing robust electrical hardware solutions for their next-generation products. You will work independently and collaboratively with a global team, contributing to innovative projects from initial concept through to production. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test complex electrical hardware , including PCBs, power supplies, and embedded systems.
- Perform detailed schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout guidance.
- Conduct thorough electrical performance simulations and worst-case analysis.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers, mechanical designers, and system architects in a remote setting .
- Develop hardware validation test plans and oversee the testing and debugging process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during development and production phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical hardware design and development.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits , microcontrollers, FPGAs, and power management ICs.
- Experience with hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork .
