About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative product development team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in building and enhancing the user interfaces of our cutting-edge web applications, ensuring a high-quality, responsive, and engaging user experience. This role requires a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies, a passion for writing clean, efficient code, and the ability to collaborate effectively with backend developers, designers, and product managers in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing web applications.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with a strong focus on JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proven experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of state management, build tools, and frontend testing frameworks.
- Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote team environment.
