Senior Full Stack Developer - Fintech

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing financial technology company in Bristol , is seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Developer . You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing their core trading platforms and customer-facing applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire technology stack, from backend services to frontend user interfaces, contributing to critical features and architectural decisions. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance financial solutions in a dynamic and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React, Angular).
• Build and optimize robust backend APIs and services, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces, focusing on user experience and accessibility.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.
• Strong experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
