About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join their innovative FinTech team in Manchester . You will be instrumental in building and enhancing cutting-edge financial technology solutions, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. This role is perfect for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about creating user-centric applications. You will work closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust, scalable, and secure software that redefines financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs using languages like Java, C#, or Node.js.
- Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to manage application data efficiently and securely.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and actively engage in code reviews to ensure quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features, ensuring seamless integration across the platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Extensive experience with server-side languages (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js) and building RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
