About the Role
Our client, a leading national charity, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Fundraising Manager to spearhead their ambitious income generation strategies. This is a pivotal, fully remote role where you will play a crucial part in securing the vital funds needed to support our client's impactful work across the UK. You will lead a dedicated team, develop innovative fundraising campaigns, and cultivate strong relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and grant-making foundations, all while working from your own home office. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in charity fundraising and a passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet and exceed annual income targets.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of fundraising professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key stakeholders including major donors, corporate sponsors, and institutional funders.
- Design and oversee the execution of diverse fundraising campaigns across various channels, including digital, direct mail, and events.
- Analyse fundraising data, report on progress, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant charity regulations and best practices in fundraising.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in charity fundraising , with a demonstrable success in income generation.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful fundraising strategies, including major donor appeals and corporate partnerships.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and fundraising databases, with strong analytical skills.
