About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a results-oriented Senior Industrial Engineer to join their growing operations in Belfast . This role offers the chance to take a lead in optimizing complex manufacturing and logistical processes. You will be responsible for driving efficiency improvements, reducing operational costs, and implementing best practices across multiple departments. Working in a hybrid capacity, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with on-site teams while leveraging flexible remote working. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of modern industrial engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of process improvements and optimization initiatives.
Analyze production data to identify key areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practice guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless process integration.
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare business cases for capital investment in new equipment or technologies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operational staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing or logistics.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools such as Value Stream Mapping.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis software.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Experience working in a hybrid work environment is beneficial.
