About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Process Engineer for a fully remote role, based in the Norwich area. This position is focused on the strategic analysis, design, and optimisation of complex industrial processes across various sectors. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of engineering principles, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive significant enhancements in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and redesign of industrial processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Apply advanced Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies.
• Develop detailed process models, simulations, and flowcharts to analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Oversee the implementation of process changes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum benefit.
• Collaborate with project teams, operations, and management to achieve strategic operational goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operational staff.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in industrial or process engineering , with a focus on optimization.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) and advanced data analysis tools.
• Strong project management skills and a proven ability to lead complex initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for remote interaction.
