About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Industrial Process Engineer to join their innovative team in Cambridge . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of industrial processes, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Implement and manage lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across production operations.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement, recommending data-driven solutions.
- Oversee the design, selection, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs, P&IDs, and FMEAs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial process engineering .
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in simulation and data analysis tools.
- Experience with automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
