Key Responsibilities

• Perform diverse makeup applications, including fashion, bridal, and corrective makeup.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide expert recommendations.
• Lead and mentor junior makeup artists, guiding their technical development.
• Develop creative makeup concepts for photoshoots and client events.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene standards for all makeup tools and products.
• Stay updated on current makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations.

Requirements

• Professional certification or extensive experience in makeup artistry.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a makeup artist.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse makeup styles.
• Excellent understanding of colour theory and facial anatomy.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable for this role in Edinburgh .
