About the Role
Our client, a dynamic beauty brand with a presence in Liverpool , is seeking an experienced Senior Make-up Artist to join their creative team. This role is perfect for a passionate artist who can lead on photoshoots, create compelling looks for promotional campaigns, and mentor junior artists. You will be instrumental in defining and executing the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency and excellence across all makeup applications. The ideal candidate is a trendsetter with a strong portfolio and a flair for innovative beauty concepts, comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative makeup looks for editorial shoots, advertising campaigns, and brand events.
- Lead makeup artistry on set, directing models and junior artists to achieve the desired vision.
- Collaborate closely with photographers, stylists, and art directors to ensure cohesive aesthetics.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, researching new products, techniques, and styles.
- Conduct makeup masterclasses and training sessions for staff and key clients.
- Maintain a comprehensive and organized professional makeup kit.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Make-up Artist, with significant editorial or campaign work.
- Exceptional technical skills across a broad range of makeup applications.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, and a high standard of artistry.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for the beauty industry.
