About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC Systems to join their team in Wolverhampton . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of complex HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, and distribution networks.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations for heating and cooling loads, airflow, and energy efficiency.
• Utilize BIM and CAD software to create detailed design models, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and electrical engineers to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, commissioning, and to resolve any installation or operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
• Proficiency with HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, HAP).
• Experience with energy modeling and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
